Nuclear Power Institute of China visited College of Mechanical Engineering for project cooperation and exchange

At 9:00 a.m. on November 4^th, 2019, Ming Fu, the deputy director of The Nuclear Fuel Components and Materials Institute in Nuclear Power Institute of China, visited College of Mechanical Engineering of Chongqing University along with his 6-member delegation to conduct research on project cooperation intention. Dean Gengxin Xie and Director Qin Wen come from College of National Defense of Chongqing University, Secretary Xiaohui Chen, Dean Mingjin Lin, and Vice Dean Baoping Tang of College of Mechanical Engineering participated in the meeting.

At the technical exchange and matchmaking meeting, Dean Gengxin Xie firstly introduced the overall strength and relevant policies of Chongqing University in defense military research, and hoped to carry out in-depth cooperation with Nuclear Power Institute of China in various aspects such as discipline construction, research projects, personnel training and exchange. 

Subsequently, Ming Fu and Baoping Tang introduced works such as proposed docking, joint cooperation project needs, history of college, recent research development and unique advantages of College of Mechanical Engineering respectively. The teachers concerned combined their research directions with Ming Fu and his delegation to exchange in-depth project cooperation intentions.
