Chongqing Networked Manufacturing Engineering Technology Center was approved by Chongqing Science and Technology Committee in 2010. And the center was established based on the Institute of manufacturing engineering of Chongqing University. Under the situation of economic globalization and deepening of international division of labor, the center focuses on basic theories and common key technologies of networked manufacturing such as network collaborative manufacturing theory, industrial Internet and cloud manufacturing, and plays an important role in networked manufacturing application in the fields of equipment, automobile and electronics.

The center has about 800 square meters of office space and more than 200 square meters of experimental site. It has a wealth of networked manufacturing equipment and software systems, including networked manufacturing platform, four axis CNC equipment, five axis CNC engraving and milling machine, remanufacturing three-axis CNC machining center, CNC wire cutting machine, CNC grinder, three-dimensional laser forming equipment, discrete workshop manufacturing execution system, CNC machining center, CNC machining center, CNC wire cutting machine, CNC grinding machine, 3D laser forming equipment, CNC machining center, CNC machining center, Intelligent control and monitor system for production line, energy efficiency monitoring and management system for workshop and other hardware and software equipment.
