The theory and application research in the aspects of dynamic service behavior of drive system, high performance drive system innovation design theory and method, efficient drive system based on novel engineering composite materials, and transmission mechanism frication performance based on nanometer surface projects and the like under special and extreme environment were carried out, and innovative design theory, methods and technique of high performance electric drive component system with high-precision, high reliability, long life, high torque, low-power and lightweight were proposed. 
?It has undertaken 20 national and provincial scientific research projects since 2003, won one second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, has applied or authorized for 11 invention patents, has published more than 100 articles in important domestic and foreign journals and international conferences, wherein more than 60 articles were included in SCI and EI. Overall research achievements are in the domestic leading place and reach international advanced level.

?Efficient Transmission System Critical Technology and Industrialization Based on New Engineering Composite Materials
?Key scientific items of machinery transmission, in particular to dynamic service behavior of ship propulsion system were revealed, innovative design theory, methods and techniques of replacing metal with non-metal materials as transmission component, replacing mineral oil with natural water as lubricating medium, and efficient transmission system based on novel engineering composite materials were proposed, resource-saving and environment-friendly BTG water lubricated bearing products and high-performance drive systems for more than 300 specifications were researched and developed, thereby making great breakthrough and important innovation in key scientific technique aspects such as transmission machinery and environmental protection, obtaining scientific and technical achievements in the international leading level with independent intellectual property rights, and realizing commercialization, industrialization and internationality, and it is expected to become the new industry and economic growth point. 
‘Key technologies and industrialization of efficient transmission system based on new engineering composite materials’won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2004, national high-tech industrialization demonstration project base which is provided with 50 million yuan of fixed assets and passed ISO9001 quality system certification was established, BTG water-lubricated bearing series products were developed, produced, and exported to Europe, America and Southeast Asia and other more than thirty countries with significant economic and social benefits.

High-performance Electromechanical Drive and Equipment Intergration Technology
Innovation research of high performance drive components and systems with high reliability, long life, high accuracy, high torque, low-power and lightweight under special and extreme environment was developed mainly aiming at harmonic reducers, RV reducers and other drive parts and systems of important equipment such as domestic and international robots, space vehicles, ship power and the like, reliability design theory and methods of new high-performance transmission parts and systems were proposed, which lays scientific and technology foundation for improving Chinese transmission part and system technology level, and meeting demands of military and civilian users on high-performance mechanical and electrical drive systems.

Precisely-formed Digital Manufacturing Equipment Made of Engineering Composite Materials 
Combined with foreign and domestic novel materials, advanced preparation, shaping? novel materials, advanced preparation, shaping and manufacturing technique of materials, high performance, and related frontier technologies, a precisely-formed digital manufacturing equipment made of engineering composite materials was researched and developed mainly aiming at key problems which need be solved? urgently in high performance product industrialization engineering technical equipment such as water lubricated rubber bearings and so on, the equipment is successfully applied in production lines of high performance engineering composite material products based on resource saving and environment-friendliness such as water lubricated rubber bearings, water lubricated dynamic sealing composite rubber bearing, high elasticity couplings etc. The equipment can intelligently monitor hydraulic transmission and electric induction heating die rapid vulcanization precisely-forming systems through digital integration networking, and can realize working platform self-adaptive lifting, and it specially adopts electric induction heating dies intelligently controlled by function simulation nerve robust and efficient vulcanization process system based on artifical neural network and genetic algorithm optimization, thereby realizing rapid precision forming of engineering composite materials.
